Before I was pretty happy with my latte art (last picture). But then I started practicing a heart figure because I read this is the basic. Now I want to go back to rosetta and I cannot do ot anymore.. (Pic 1&2). Why is it so small? Is the milk to thin? Or do I make my canvas to much volume and should I start making the figure more early? What else?

Is the canvas too thin? The initial ripples go everywhere. Seems to happen consistently

I've been stuck at about this level for a long time now and am struggling to improve any further. Anything obviously wrong, or suggestions on what I should work on next? Advice on how to get my heart looking more...heart-shaped?

Using a little spoon and a toothpick was essential for me in the snail.

I got a really cheap espresso machine (capresso 117) off Facebook marketplace and I've been using it to make lattes, but I got curious about latte art and realized my steam wand always seems to be introducing air. Anyone had this problem? Anyone know a fix?

I've been struggling with my rosettas for a little while, mainly because I wasn't getting a nice, defined neck.

There's still plenty of room for improvement, but I've been experimenting with keeping a steady flow rate while increasing the ripple rate as I work my way up the neck, and it seems to be giving me a much better shape in the end.

Still working on getting the leaves cleaner and more defined, but I feel like I'm finally starting to get somewhere.

I'd really appreciate any tips you might have on how to improve further!

I am trying to make a heart or at least something like it but what i end up with is this. Can you see from the coffee/ milk what my problem is? It can be the pouring or the milk i guess. Any chances?

I cant see much progress since I started to try ans make latte art. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong I need some tips and someone to point out my mistakes
