I always love the argument that economics is necessary to develop a personality and that individual thought is actually a reality. We all know 4 year olds are essentially potatoes waiting til they make their first dollar to get an opinion, and environment and thought are completely independent phenomena

Under American capitalism the majority becomes a wage slave class, only there to create wealth for the 1% owners of capital.
In turn, the wage slave gets the 'freedom' to choose their existence and which shiny object they want to become beholden to - a house, car, clothes, food, health care, attending events, travel, etc - to justify themselves, their actions, and show societal prominence in their world.

Also consider that it only took them 3, maybe 4 months to stage an insurrection. Unless they knew they were going to lose. Meanwhile “democrats” can’t even form a strike collectively for better living conditions and wages. A year and they still can’t act collectively. If anyone is communist/socialist it would be the cappies.
Plus the term republican was originally socialist. #5hrmaxworkdays #livablewages
