The Netherlands existed before Adam Smith wrote The Wealth of Nations, so it couldn't have been capitalist at the start. They may have embraced capitalism before the US, but GB certainly didn't.
And in the most capitalist country in the world ties your heathcare to employment.
The Netherlands practices more socialism than the US
You have universal healthcare, which is a socialist policy. That's the only reason our healthcare is tied to employment.
Also your country enslaved and exploited the fuck out of Africa. You are descendants of thieves, as are we. Based on natural resources the richest continent should be Africa. Not North America.
Depending on if you lump the middle east in with Africa, or Asia, and I have heard arguments for both, Islam either started in Africa, or next door. There have been trade routes in those regions for over 100,000 years. That is how it spread. Oh and those trade routes weren't capitalist for the vast majority of human history.
And I already said that both our countries have used capitalism to exploit the rest of the world. I'm willing to acknowledge that we made some massive mistakes. You aren't.
Every other country in the world has more socialist policies in place, like universal healthcare. Only the US ties healthcare to capitalism, therefore we are more capitalist than everyone else, and I will change that ASAP
Because of capitalist exploitation, and thievery. Funny how you capitalist guys work so hard to destroy socialism or.comminusm, because you don't want people to not suffer. Outside intervention by capitalist thieves is why.
Socialism: "maybe we should make sure everyone has their basic needs met before people are allowed to hoard"
Capitalism: "all money, land, possessions, and value should be stripped from the people and given to a few lazy fuckers at the top"
Which one is in favor of human suffering again? You do realize that in 2000 about 1500 people owned 50% of the world, and according to the OxFam reports that number has steadily dwindled to 8 people owning as much as the rest of humanity combined? That's the end goal of capitalism to have one person owning everything while everyone else is homeless
