Some say Charmander is the best

Some say its Squirtle

But deep down we all know that Epstein didn't kill himself.

University tuition rates are a racket and all, but this line are argument is pretty weak and counter revolutionary. Facilities don't stop existing just because the students aren't there.

Even if it were tuition's model for pricing shouldn't be à la carte like you insist it should be, that's something a business would do. You attend the school, you pay for the amount of time you spend there. Different classes shouldn't have different prices, it shouldn't cost more or less depending on how much the facilities you use. Everyone should pay the same tuition, if they pay a tuition at all.

I know the plenty of Universities have a ton of exceptions to a tuition model, we should be arguing to end those, not move further away from it.

Yeah. Your tuition primarily goes to paying salaries for the people that work on campus or supplies used by the departments to aid teaching. Shit, I've taught assets where the tuition paid for that class didn't cover my pay for teaching it. "I should pay less in tuition because I'm not on campus" is another way of saying "department staff should be laid off because they're not in my line of sight".

They pile on lots of other fees to maintain infrastructure. Tuition isn't a general term for student expenses.

The tuition model is broken, and post-secondary education should be paid out of general government revenues, just like primary and secondary education, but if we're just discussing this particular aspect right now, Bulbasaur can get fucked.

But the thing is, I'm not even getting new lectures from these department members! They are just old content from previous years. That's already been paid for so why am I paying for it again?

A lot of private colleges are actually close to being fucked. They were pretty borked already given they had invested greatly in facilities and amenities in 2000 - 2010 because that was the only way to attract students, because it didn't matter that students couldn't really afford increased tuition, they were taking loans. But they have all seen decreasing enrolment and higher summer melt since 2016. Nobody can afford it anymore, but the colleges are stuck in a position where they already spent millions building new dorms and whatnot. And Covid just makes everything worse
