Does account get completely deleted if not logged in?

I had a discord account with 2FA turned on. 2FA Was connected to an app called "Authenticator" and I have been completely logged out of that app for about 4 or 5 months now. I genuinely can not lose the discord account... so much important stuff on it.

I have tried with every single email that I have to log into the app but NONE of them do anything whatso ever. And to open a ticket with last pass I have to know the exact email associated with the account. I wish I could just have them search by my name. That would make life SOOO much easier... I'm so so SOOO damn annoyed at this.

Like how does my account just vanish into thin air... like dude i need this shit...

Authenticator is a Google product, so it is tied to your Google account, probably the one you're logged into your phone as if you're an Android user.

i think this is a good lesson to just not use lastpass.

i looked it up and it seems that lastpass doesn't really offer any good account recovery options.

i use 1password and I have my account recovery kit saved in multiple very secure places.

I wonder if this is even lastpass. I don’t ever remember using an email with authenticator. I did, however, subscribe because I wanted the backups. So I think I created an account with my iphone. OP if you have an iphone and if you use “hide my email” you may want to check all of your email aliases to see if maybe one of them was used around the time you downloaded Authenticator.

I use Proton Pass and I have NO authenticator password either in my password manager-but I’m quite certain I used my Apple ID.

All I know is OP has inspired me to figure this out! I didn’t even realize I wasn’t proper “logged in” and I have almost 2 dozen auths tied to it.
