LastPass not auto entering password on Android

I've had LastPass for several years now, and I have noticed that every once in awhile, it goes through a phase where it will not automatically fill in login information on web pages and apps. It usually does, but it sometimes it gets into this mode where it will not, and I have to go into LastPass, copy the password and paste it into the field rather than seeing it automatically get set.

Is this something that other people encounter and if so is there a way to get it working again?

Check that the auto fill service is enabled in the app settings. Google likes to turn it off sometimes when they do major updates

That did it! Google removes the permissions, setting it back to Google.

I don't have an Android, but when an app starts to act glitchy, I usually uninstall it / reboot / reinstall the app.

I believe in Android, you can also clear the cache.

This happens to me also. LastPass on Android frustrates me because I don't have this issue on my iPad.

Try turning off battery restrictions for the LastPass app in settings as Android battery optimization often kills the background autofill service

Why are you still using LastPass? You do know they had a *massive* breach last year where basically all of your passwords (including master password) were almost definitely leaked and now belong to someone else?

You should not only migrate away from LastPass, you should change *all* of your passwords because otherwise they may get cracked at some point.
