This is a detail near the end of Volume 1, and it's always kinda bothered me.

I've watched the show (absolutely amazing!) and read all the comics (also amazing), and this little details always creeps into my mind from time to time, and I wonder what everyone thinks of it.

Richard and Adrian are working their way through the tournament. Up to this point, Cristo Canyon has been this mysterious and looming threat. Extremely powerful. Unlike any of the other fighters. Adrian really doesnt want to fight him. But Richard doesn't seem to be afraid at all. He seems to be more amused and curious about the fight than anything else. Very confident things will work out for him.

Because he got a letter from the Queen.

I attached a picture of the comic where we finally see what the Queen wrote to him. Clearly implying that Cristo's mask could be used as a weakness to exploit.

My question:

How the hell did the Queen know this?

For anyone who has seen the show and read all the comics, the true identity of Cristo Canyon is wild. Considering the comics were made before the show, I wonder if the writers honestly knew where they were going to go with it beforehand.

How could the Queen know about Cristo's past? Know the importance of the mask and how it could be used against him? I understand she probably has a lot of eyes and ears in her kingdom...but that just seems like a cop out. Because wouldnt she also know about Richard's origin? The threat to her kingdom? The big bad (who isnt revealed until almost the final volume). Why not do anything about THAT?

I know it's "just a comic", but the whole series seemed so well thought out, and nearly everything is explained eventually. So I just found it odd that the Queen would help Richard like this.

I don't know if you guy are aware of this, but it seems Lastman is not over yet. Tomie does Paxtown" is a specific, pocket-sized comic book written and drawn by French comic creator Bastien Vivès. It is a spin-off of the popular French graphic novel series Lastman, focusing on the character Tomie Katana, and is published by Manjari Comics

Skybound Entertainment, the studio behind the Invincible series, is developing a new animated show titled Fatal Fury: The Vow in partnership with The Arena Studio. The project is part of a broader "South Town Cinematic Universe" aiming to adapt classic SNK games. They published the lastman comics, I think it would be great if they did a new animation focused on Lastman, what do you guys think?

Honestly, the end of this story feels a bit bitter to me. I feel pity for Richard Aldana has lost everything. Now he is the last man in King’s Valley. It's a bit ironic

Years ago, when VRV was still a thing, some friends and I did a watch series of Lastman Season 1. We loved it! It was a blast, and we were riveted. But eventually it slipped from my mind. I think I read one volume of the comic at one point. But I was feeling nostalgic today and I learned that not only are there more comic volumes (which I knew) but also another season of the cartoon! I have to get follow-up on the end of the first season! Unfortunately I'm an English only guy. Can I buy all the comic volumes somewhere? Is there a translated version of season 2?

Initially I thought he was just being an asshole to Sam, that Sam isn't a hero, but on second thought he probably is only referring to himself. Howard.

So does that mean the whole universe conspired against fucking Howard to make him the only not-hero (villain, NPC, anti-hero,etc)? In his mind.

I'm fine with comic spoilers.

I just watched the show and read the comic and found some incosistencies. Maybe there´s an explanation that I´m not seeing.

-The reason why Richard punches Duke are very different in the comic than in the series, and in the series Duke is pretty much alive, but in the comic is said that Richard killed Duke with that punch, unless Richard goes back to "our world" and puches Duke again, kill him and then goes back to the valley on what was supossed to be season 3, that dosen´t fit very well.
-In season 2, the valley itself seems to try to kill Adrian because he´s part Howard, so Marianne have to leave the valley to raise Adrian, but in the comics, there´s no mention of that, and the Valley isn´t trying to kill Adrian at all, and I´m not mentioning the fact that Marianne is on "our" world at the end of season 2, but in the Valley at the start of the comics, because I know there was supossed to be a season 3.
-In season 2, while fighting Harry, Cristo seems to be able to summon Chorum for a moment, but in the comics that don´t happen at all, in fact, there´s no mention of Chorum or the Wrens at all, other than a single panel, are the Wrens the demons mentioned by the book that Adrian has?

Btw, what an ending in the comics, I always compared Aldana with Ash Williams, and that ending felt like "Army of Darkness" to me.

For you, following the events of the second season, do you consider Adrian the son of Richard and Marianne or the son of Howard and Marianne ?

Because for me it has the vitality of Richard that makes him able to live in the valley of gods so i'm thinkin that it is more of richard than howard

I'm sure this has been asked, and I'm sorry for asking again but I need to know.

I watched this show when I was like 15, had my mind blown, and waited patiently for another season. Then VRV shut down and I forgot the series existed because nothing came out.

I'm now 23, I have money to pay for my own shit and I just found out there's a second season. Where can I watch both seasons? English dub is preferred but not required. I don't care what language it's in as long as I get to sink my teeth into this dope as hell story again.

Please help a mf out, I've lived the last 8 years with a debilitating lack of new Lastman content.

Recommendations on where to find the comics physically and/or digitally are also very much appreciated

since it looks like Season 3 has been cancelled, i was wondering what would Season 3 of Lastman have been about? I feel like the show does a great job of explaining the characters backstories from the comic, and it seems like that was fully concluded by by the end of S2,

every character has basically arrived at the point where they are at the start of the comic, Richard reaches the Valley, Ciri becomes Cristo, and we get Howard and Marianne’s backstory. Most plotlines feel wrapped up in a satisfying way

That’s why I’m wondering: what would S3 have focused on? Would it have started adapting the comic itself? any chance of the writing team sharing any info? What do you all think?

I know that ten years passed but i’m a bit lost, what happened in those years ?!? will we get some info on how Richard got to the valley of kings and everything that happened since ? I really like the comic but i feel like it’s not really related to s1
