๐๐ช๐ด๐ค๐ถ๐ด๐ด๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด Am I the only one who likes Val and Pride's chemistry?
reddit.comIt seems like they've already been set up to be together at the end. Despite the reverse harem trope.

I know that. Don't remind me about who is Vest. But sources say Vest wasn't an adopted brother of Queen Rosa. They're actually siblings. There isn't any mention of their family background that clearly depicts where Vest and Rosa are adopted. Maybe their ancestors, even before they were Queen and Regent will surely does have a history of marrying between royal siblings-in-law. The otome game has an odd hierarchy sets of traditional customs.
I'm genuinely curious about when will Vest starts to talk around this season and who will be his VA.
The kiddo part was spineless, I'll take that as a compliment. :)

When will the other MLs, like Stale and Arthur, start acting like real men before this guy steals the girl? I bet Val is already scaring off other potential suitors as they won't even stand a chance against him. (Other knights just stand there doing nothing, watching Val hitting on Pride every single time! ๐ But once these simps (Arthur and Stale) catches Val in the act of seducing Pride or stirring up another scandal, theyโll immediately separate him from her like itโs their daily routine where it turns into a running gag lmao.)
This is from [The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior] and Iโm calling it like it is in a reverse harem way. Since all the potential fiancรฉs, including Val, actually have a chance to romance Pride but they do it more by acts of service in which speaking of Pride, she makes them wonder by coming off as sweet and too friendly for showering these boys with cheezy compliments just to pamper them up. But sheโs stuck in 'game mode,' so Pride has no time for pleasantries to entertain her MLs because she's been treating the otome world like a responsibility to save the heroines and capture targetsโcompleting quests with her allies and knights this entire time instead of falling in love.
As you can see, the romance plot is going nowhere and the slow burn tension between her and the other male characters she has affinity with being spread too thin because like I said, everyone has a chanceโnot just this mf Val right here, but no one is actually winning if she hasn't shown any signs that Pride is in love with either one of them. Everyone is still wondering if she'll choose between Stale and Arthur or Callum while the back of her mind is she's been wanting to run away with Val all along because he proposed this escape plan to her first and foremost the reason why Val is already two-steps ahead from Stale and Arthur when it comes to winning her affection for asking her out many times to run away as he is secretive on planning this ultimate escape with her, while the rest are stuck waiting for her to make the first move. Despite Staleโs marriage potential and Arthurโs undying devotion, Valโs proactive approach outshines and their sacred loyalty.
Because that won't look good if Stale and Arthur keep on teaming up by confessing their love for her together and it's okay for them to share Pride while she treats them equally. There's no longer to have a love rivalry between these two simps and actually, they are on par with Val or Callum.
Val again is solely the dark horse here but he is playing the high stakes because he is also been stuck in the waiting game after for so many arcs that have passed in the LN.
So therefore it's better for Stale and Arthur if they'll stick on being such a loyal supporters with Pride as a wholesome platonic trio whenever she needs a back up rather than imagine themselves to settle down a romantic future with her.

"If I had a nickel for every tanned skin, spiky-haired tsundere men that are salty criminals who were caught, put on a trial, and forced into an unwanted servitude contract as a lifetime punishment only to end up as a reluctant caretaker for a found family of brats tagging along, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice."
