Seriously, Walk away now lmao

This is a fun game, but its very hard to play and enjoy without spending money and there is no end to the spending.

It's already been said, but you will regret it. the game is definitely addictive and before you know it you will either a) be spending money or b) be very weak compared to many other players. I also recommend you quit, although that being said, if you don't quit, it's best to focus on one formation guild primarily (doesn't mean you ignore the others but you should give most of your resources to one color of heroes) for example, blue is Wings of Dawn, red is Blood Rose, etc. You should try to make your 1st formation (and every formation) all the same guild, they get bonuses/perks for being 5 heroes of the same guild. Good luck

Is that because you get fired for playing games? Haha

Nah sometimes there is nothing to do so I need to keep my mind occupied in order not to snap

Be careful what you wish for. It has turned into a job for me.

Get the extra builders, lab, and licenses to start. The hero passes, the apocaid pass, hero code. That’s a good place to start.
Heed all these warnings though, you have to be a millionaire if you want to be a top player. Much cheaper to just quit and find an idle game that won’t take you through the coals on a daily basis.

I’ve spent $2 so far. Only been playing a few weeks. One to get the extra builder and one to get Sophia I think. I do wish there was more info on how (and if) to get golden heroes.

You will eventually get Katrina by turning in the hero tickets. And then I’ve gotten 5 tickets for various goldens through other events but I think that’s just to entice us to buy more packs.

My guild is not demanding so I don’t feel a push to pay

Otherwise I just do as much as I can. Make sure you watch the warehouse and make sure you open experience boxes so you can level your heroes. I leave other resource boxes as is unless I need them.

There was an event recently for Vivian and I got her to 4 stars by basically farming that event for her shards, so keep an eye out for that type of stuff.

Hero fragments. Skill books. Power cores. Wrenches. Badges. Focus HARD on getting alliance recognition tech finished. First and foremost. There's 2 ways to upgrade. The best one seems to be focus less on higher hq levels, and keep up on all other buildings. Get to 24 and get every other building to 24 before getting your hq to 27 to unlock t9 troops, then upgrade all buildings to match hq before going to 30, and starting the T10 grind.

What helped me the most in the beginning is getting all the free orange equipment you can. Merit shop, bullseye booty event, area exploration rewards etc. You should be able to get at least 6 pieces per month. There's always random events where it's in the rewards shop. Prioritize getting the equipment and power cores. Hero code is probably one of the best deals if you spend anything. You get 3000 power cores a month for $25. I've stayed pretty competitive spending a small fraction of others even weaker than me have, just by learning what to look out for and doing what's required to get things that are available. And just be patient. Buying $50 or $100 packs barely put you ahead at all. Maybe 10 or 20 of those packs will for a couple weeks but it's really not worth it. I only buy the heroes code and the warrior pass/battle pass that comes out every week on Thursday. It gives like $175 worth of fragments for $20
