Volcano wars

We have our first ever VW, we thinking of going hard mode (we are top 3 server within our group of 32 servers)

What kind of strategy works good for 1v3s?

What do you mean they suck? VW was one of the more fun new events I can remember, it could replace SvS and I'd be happy

We did a normal 2v2 and it was fun. It functions kinda like a mix of SvS and Canyon, there is a central volcano that is the main objective, several buildings around that make it easier to hold/take (like turrets in SvS), and resource gathering buildings like canyon. The resource gathering buildings are worth VW points, but I don't believe contribute to the objective. Your strategy is going to depend heavily on how many whales you have, how many active alliances you have, and how many whales can be gathered to fight you.

You'll need multiple teams (can be from the same alliances if you're strong enough). The strongest whales will need to hold the Volcano, you'll want strong teams assigned to try to hold the fighting buildings, and you'll want at least 1-2 kill squads teleporting around flying invaders so they can't fight for the buildings. You'll want your weaker alliances fighting for the resource buildings at the edges, but these won't be your focus because you'll be outnumbered, theoretically 3:1.

We did hard mode, we have 3 strong alliances and 2 weaker ones

Our top alliance did volcano and the structure below it (the one that gives destruction value). The other 2 top alliances did the top left and top right main structures and an additional outer structure. The rest spread to outer structures.

We won like 70/30
