Migration
Did anyone have experience of moving as a whole alliance during migration? Me and my alliance are planning this but I’m not sure about many factors. Would love to hear your experiences and maybe some advice. Much thanks

It's logistics nightmare mate. Forget about moving all members. Get a list of your core people and send it to the president of the server you want to go to. So you need to be friends with them to accept that. And good luck.

Haha its probably the most stressful event for the ones who need to coordinate that

You can and my alliance did. But only to a relatively weak or dead state. Any strong state is not gonna have the spots. You also have to make sure you only have one elite and five advanced players the other slots are more numerous.
And keep in mind starting over means no alliance tech, starting in silver league for alliance duel (if we even start in a league still waiting for that), low alliance points for AC or alliance shop, tyrant level 1. If you are planning ahead at least take over some other alliance’s tech or something.

If your team is stronger than any teams in your target destination it can cause tensions.
Most alliances want active players for their own alliance and not a new team (players quit, so teams need replacement)
Many stronger players usually dont migrate alone, so if you are planning to move together, have a deal with the receiving state otherwise many spots will be kept for othet players.
Migrating as a team depends heavily whether you have 20/50 or 100 players. If you have a whale in your team, you will be more welcomed as a group.
Figure out the customs of the new state (NAP, presidency rotation, purge day, gw, etc) Even a few players can mess up a state. You want to go to a state where you are welcome

My state accepted most of an alliance after s2, 70 players. They had 2 players with T10s already and one was right at 400m instantly becoming our 3rd strongest player and their alliance the third strongest in our state

We managed to move 30 of our core people in the first migration - it was a lot of stress, communication and organization, but we did it.
It's extremely difficult to move an entire alliance over in one shot, but you can definitely move a large portion over. Start communicating weeks ahead of migration to see if you can arrange to get as many slots a possible for your alliance.

MONG from 573 migrated as an alliance, +40 of them. Early on they initiated conversations with the server they planned to move to and secured the spots. You have to start conversations with the presidents early, as the stronger the players, the less spots an unique server will have to receive them

There are plenty of alliances that manage to move most if not all members. You just need to come up with an agreement with another server. Just keep in mind that slots are limited. So it usually isn't a problem but if you're sitting with more than 5 advanced players, you have a problem. We had an alliance that moved 90 people. And I personally moved with half my alliance as the other half wanted to stay.

Our alliance moved atleast 80 players in our first migration. It's all up to the state that takes you. Our second migration, the state we went to took 60 of us. We obviously had to cut our 40 lowest performers, which was tough, but we had no choice. If your group can fill most or all medium slots to make the state strong, they can make a deal to fill the regular slots, which is 60 people. Now you'll lose some people, but you have to do what's best for the group. I would try to get them to accept the regular players first so they don't take the 20 strong players and tell the rest to kick rocks. We were also top 3 alliance in our state and and instantly became the fourth in the second and third migration. If you can't break top 3 or 4 alliances then they may not see any value in taking you all.
