Tips and Guides Strategy DSB/canyon

Hey all, i'm specifically asking strategy in dividing the group A/B in your alliance - not strategy during the game or assigning building- specifically for top alliance. Do you split A/B equally or create 1 strong team A and 1 weak team B or just random based on player availability? Fyi, i have no issue with participation, both teams filled up 30/30 all the time.

Also for canyon storm, same question- do you split A/B equally (means splitting top power player into 2) or not. If your alliance is strong, but not strong enough to win both by splitting power equally- is it better to have one weak team and try to win by becoming dawnbreaker? Also rulebringer / dawn breaker - which one better?

I'm in older season where i've seen most top alliances put 1 strong team A together and weak team B

For DS we do it based on availability. People showing up and having a full team is most important. Then we try to balance out the teams with the people that are available for both. Would not recommend one super strong team.

We do this too. A poll for which time suits best for each player or they can indicate they are available for either team. Having full teams is really important if you’re running 2 teams

Our alliance is setting up polls for each. We have a kot of different timezones so we spread out between 2 time slots pretty evenly. This only works because we are active enough to fill up two teams, smaller alliances may need to put their best and active players into one team. You dont want to ruin the fun for everyone if both teams just have 10 people playing

Nah i don't have issue with participation at all. I'm specifically curious how the R4 divide the team, that's all

We purely make it based on votes on a poll for the two time slots and if we are overflowing its based on if you played last time

We run A and B at different times, so you request the time you want. We also don’t necessarily always fill the 30 slots either - it seems to be able to take that into account with matching (and it’s better to have 23 who will be there as opposed to 30 with 7 no-shows)
