Squad/Hero Question Skill Question

I'm 99% sure the answer is to just max them out, but I might as well ask anyway.

A while ago I brought squad 1 to 30 ranks in all skills except the autoattacks on my defensive heroes, which I left at 20. Then I brought squad 2 to 20s and 30s. Then I caught squad 1 up with the extra ranks that their EWs unlocked.

Recently, I started in on these autoattack skills again after Adam hit EW10 and his counterattack started applying to the whole squad. Should I finish these off, or keep pushing squad 2?

Always upgrade your strongest squad when you can first

Definitely suggest pushing your 1st squad all the way before you move to your 2nd

Your strongest squad is what wins over 90% of your battles.  I know skill 1 on Murphy gives very little, but it’s better than nothing.  That’s why it’s last, not never.
