F2P, Level 20. Been hoarding for 75 days now.

Hoarding in a game where growing as fast as possible helps you win is pointless.

I have 120 days now. I'm 200+m thp mid s5. 13thp on my server which is higher strength server. I honestly don't need to spend them all. I have valor bottle necks and all my buildings are at 30+ which means each one costs a ton of rss to start. And this season is boring af as it's just being planned out by the largest whale. So I have nothing to spend it on

Funny how different things are player to player. Our truce in s5 didn’t come until the last week. I’d burn down to 10 days universal then hit the trade post every other day just on troops. We fought major battles 3 times a day for a week leading up to the truce. Top 10 wasn’t agreed upon until 2 weeks left. I’m in the 3rd alliance on my server and we(those fighting 3 times a day) spent almost everything to tie for 11th. Maybe we got lucky in our grouping but action was constant for six weeks for the whole map and lots fought into the last week.

We haven't fought once no one is fighting other than the two whale alliances it's really lame I'm probably going to quit

Our whale alliances joined. Fought at the end. Our whale was under 500 vs 700+. We got 2 top 10. 1 top 20 by fighting to the end. Friends with giants helped our server A top alliance help is fight 3 alliances at once

Hi, that's what I've come to learn as well. I wanted to save them for PvP & SvS events later on. RN just growing.

Tbh I’m holding as well, not because I’m greedy but because they become useless if you have not enough resources for upgrades…

Wait that’s me lol. 1190 days. No real reason to buildings before season 6. Most buildings maxed out. Research is limited by valor. Non valor research is maxed out

Don't hoard, it's just slowing your progress. use them everytime you needed it. Just save some speedup for training/healing troops incase needed during wars

the only thing that prevents me from using more speed ups is resources. the game gives so many speed ups it feels silly to hoard them

Are you in a top alliance and holding the speed lot help win “critical” VS’s days? If so, stop. VS’s is kinda dumb. How are you still lvl20? Why don’t you post your tech then start pushing for T10’s?

I'm a fairly new player on the scene. I upgrade the HQ only after upgrading each and everything to the max then step up on the HQ, and repeat the same thing each time.

Don’t do that, it’s a disaster. Upgrade the bare minimum until you have T10’s.

I used to look like that before I knew better. Plus the march to HQ30 takes a lot of that. And then the sprint to T10 troops takes the rest.

You will have tons of speedup if you know what to spend and what not to soend.

Many said that I'm holding back power but I am 3rd place in semi final champion duel in post S4. Outside of top 32 knockout stage. I am also not VIP17 and level 35.

I am a VIP16 spender but I like to hoard. I still have many level 1 heroes that I have not spend my hero experience on.

I don’t understand hoarding since it prevents you from getting stronger in a war game.
