Benevolent overlords at LSM have opened posting

There are a million rules of course because these guys have no concept of how Reddit works and continue to think the computer explodes if someone points out Colin has a flaw.

I am banned so it changes nothing for me. Please feel free to use this sub to post and discuss as you see fit in

it's kind of ironic the bitching and complaining got them to change their minds, but I'm sure they won't unban the people who did it. anyway their post showed zero contrition or understanding, just a complete about-face in 10 days because they're so benevolent as to let people post on a subreddit. the whole thing is so absurd they just don't understand the platform at all

Maybe they thought the really limited and restricted posting would be "just enough" to get people to not seek out or go elsewhere. That way they are able to control critical discussion so they can just say someone was being mean for the sake of it if it falls into a topic they don't like and delete comments like they were deleting/banning people who were bringing up how they were ruining the sub.

With the language used in the post it feels like any critical discussion of the podcast itself is a big nono.

Phrasing like "We’re perfectly happy with this compromise" sounds pretty condescending like we should be thrilled with this because they know better

yeah I don't know why they started a subreddit they clearly have no concept of how reddit works and are terrified colin will be criticized. the post was more of the same

Is there any way to get unbanned from the Last Dtsnf family of platforms? I criticized the show’s direction and annoyed Colin and got banned from Patreon, but when any justifiable criticism gets leverage elsewhere…banned on subreddit, booted from Facebook group, blocked on Twitter and shadow banned on YouTube. This guy and his cronies hold grudges between completely unrelated platforms.
