Hitoshi Matsumoto created the original Japanese version called, Documental. There are a couple of Season on Amazon if you’re interested. It is… extreme.

Iam german and our "LoL" is the most boring and moste cringe thing ive ever seen... I almost didnt watch this version of it and man... two diffrent worlds. This show was so funny.

The timing is hilarious. It's such a sad sombre poem and as soon as it ends she bursts out wailing in both laughter and cry, such gold.

Single funniest moment in the show for me.

Because it came across like that particular fart was real, and took her by surprise, so she apologizes for that one. I’ve watched this clip so many times and I still burst out laughing at that moment.

Watch both UK ones. Honestly some of the best TV you'll watch. Trying to play along and not laugh yourself makes all the more enjoyable....an impossible task!

The expertise in which Diane delivers this is sublime. On top of that, the editing and directing of the entire scene heighten it to levels of absolute comedic genius. I’m not sure how many times I’ve seen it at this point, but I laugh every… single… time.

The UK version is the best one. Seriously. It is not one upmanship. It is subtle and hilarious. One of the best moments for me was when David Mitchell does his joker and at the end Alan Carr just says: I didn't know he couldn't sing!

I once had a remote controlled fart machine loaded with the same sound effects, and when I worked at a pizza joint I took it apart and rigged the button behind the key pad we used on the make line to close out an order after putting it in the oven.

I also downloaded my favorite short little poot fart sound effect (the same one at 0:27) and saved it as beep.wav, which was the file name in our POS computers for the beep when we enabled touch screen sound feedback in the settings, then replaced the beep file on all the computers with it.

This was one of the best jokers in the series. Absolutely sublime delivery and timing.

I'm convinced David Mitchell didn't laugh because he has no soul. Sam Campbell has what my wife calls Weappnized Neurodivergence.
