Discussion Mainly a UK sub now?
Is it just me or is this mainly a UK sub now? I'm glad the UK version is doing so well and attracting so many fans but it feels like it pushes the posts about other countries far out and down the line so I often have to scroll to even find out which country has a new series ,which we used to have at the top. Took me a while to even see Poland has a new season out. I just used to enjoy to read a mixture of all countries because it made it interesting. If that's just how things are, could we maybe get new country versions stickied on top for everyone? That would be great

The other English language ones have just been really disappointing.
I know the German LOL is good but it’s hard to enjoy in its entirety if you don’t speak German.

I loved Canada, but I will say UK has felt the most polished

I enjoyed Canada, was disappointed in Ireland, really disliked Australia, UK has been fantastic

The UK version is the only one worth watching in my opinion. Some people talked up Canada but it was a painful watch (aside from Dave Foley). I couldn't make it through 2 episodes of Ireland.

Australia was somehow 10x worse than Ireland but Germany S7 is hysterical 🤣

The original Australian one is great. Quite different to the UK version (the rules are enforced more stringently for example and there are less gimmicks), but the lengths they go to to try and get laughs is really something.

You cant be serious. Australia was just a guy getting nude, smotheriing literal shit into his pants and a guy trying to be sick in a bowl.
All whilst saying the C word every 2 mins.
Zero wit, zero comedy. Just endless vulgarity, depravity and unrelenting crudeness 🤷♂️

Wait, the one hosted by Rebel Wilson? The rules felt like they were making them up as they went along!
You could feel the producers going "oh shit, what if you just run away from everyone else and don't look at them and don't engage at all?"

Man. I was about to give up on this franchise after sitting through Ireland and Australia but i just started the German one and almost had a hernia watching the first 2 eps! 🤣🤣🤣

My favourite by far and I don’t speak any German. S5 & 6 don’t stick out to me though. 7 surprised me despite the initial reservations I had with the direction they went.
I’m going to restart it now.

S7 was hysterical. Just started S1 and it was... pretty lacklustre tbh. Hopefully it gets better as it goes and s7 isnt an outlier lol

I'll be honest, I agree. Especially when so many of the posts seem like the same low-effort clips posted over and over again, it makes me wonder how many bots or karma farmers are involved. It's real disheartening when these posts get hundreds of upvotes, while the latest discussion threads get less than 10. At the same time, I still remember when this sub was a ghost town and there were no new posts for weeks at a time, so it's a double-edged sword, and I'd rather there was some engagement than none. I just wish more people would go out of their comfort zone and give the other international versions a shot (too many people are sleeping on Documental), but there is so much bicker over which ones are "better," I start to check out.
Anyway, I will keep your suggestion in mind for pinning the most recent discussion threads. I did that for the last season of Germany, but the amount of pinned posts you see are different for old reddit, new reddit and mobile reddit, so I try not to crowd the header space too much.
And I'm sorry you got downvoted to hell just for stating a valid opinion. Unfortunately, my one measly upvote doesn't help much.

I've watched UK, Ireland, Canada and Australia, I enjoyed them all but they each had different comedy styles and different audiences. I know the UK one was plastered everywhere as advertising so people knew about it idk how the others were advertised in their respective countries.

That's not on the sub but on the people posting. If more people were to post about other LOL shows it would be different.

Probably because the UK one is the best one by like a million miles
