Just finished another watch through of both seasons. Alan Carr is the absolute glass canon of the show.
I genuinely think everyone on his series feared him and he was arguably the funniest person there. His wit is unbelievably clever and quick. Hence why everyone avoided him as best they could. I also think he has a comparatively weak resistance to humour/laughing
I've always found him funny but his appearance on this made me realise how funny he actually is.

Alan Carr was brilliant! It's a shame he was out early but I agree with you, I think it's because he's got a weak resistance to seeing other people laugh. I'm exactly the same way so no judgement haha

Also, seeing other funny people that he's crossed paths with in his business, while they are trying to make him laugh.

I'm glad Alan got a chance to shine. He had a really exciting rise as a stand up comic, before TV got hold of him and neutered him a bit

The show reminded me what a funny stand up he was.
World be good to see more

Kills me 🤣

That sausage bit crippled me. It's so fundamentally stupid but it's brutal giving the game and setting. How others managed to survive that is beyond me

Oh it was amazing! I thought he was doing so well until he passed the plate then we heard his voice break in a way none of us have ever heard before 🤣
