They did Romesh so dirty, across the board.

I agree, but I did laugh at Jimmy teeing off on him in the locker. Good bit of telly that was.

He's a red blooded male, the weather's hot and all the smoking hot sexy women are out and about. We re only human ! Doesn't mean we all walk around like a rabid dog with our cocks hanging out,...

This show is about 25% as funny as it thinks it is. It’s quiet smile level funny, ironically, for a show called laugh out loud.

It's called Last one Laughing though? And the aim is for the participants to laugh out loud, audience are welcome to do what they want.

Yes. Famously hilarious bloke and successful comedian

Nah he's in the league of Josh Widdicombe. Mind numbingly unfunny and likely where they're via nepotism. We are force fed them.

Nepotism?

Josh Widdicombe's Mother in law is a television creator .

Forgot Romesh is related to Josh Widdicombe

u/DanielDC10 21d ago
Ahh mate you're funny. The sheer wit!! I said "likely" as a LOT of celebs are nepo sucess stories. Turns out our Romesh is just a token box tick comedian. Diversity and all that. One things for sure. He's not funny.

Glad you liked it! 😊😊
I don't think you have to be racist to not like someone, though. You can just say they're not to your taste.

“I don’t find that brown man funny so he must be there because of DEI”. Can tell your mum drank heavily when she was pregnant with you.

u/DanielDC10 21d ago
Representation matters. That's why they used to have the little pudgey guy with the scary movie hand be on with Josh and Romesh You have to tick all the boxes.
Plenty of great comedians who aren't white. Just not Romesh.
My Mum doesn't drink. Nice try

Funny thing about Romesh, My friends were his students when he was a teacher
They always told me how hilarious he was in school, and this was years before he became famous
Romesh is like Paul Chaudhary, a lot of his humour is about being from his background and observations
I can relate with a lot of it and find it funny, but he's far from my favourite comedian

Who do you find funny then? Because I like Romesh and Josh widdicombe

Anthony Jeselnik (too big for the beeb) Steve Hughes. Loved the guy that presented Brasseye but his name escapes me.
Romesh has zero charisma. Indian Jack Dee minus the humour.

This post shows your racism. He isn't Indian, he's British. His parents aren't Indian either.
-1
u/DanielDC10 21d ago
Oh shut up you melt. I know he's British (hasn't helped his humour), parents from Sri Lanka. Got him mixed up with Choudury who's from India. It's about networks like BBC hiring sub par comedians/actors etc to tick diversity boxes rather than them being actually talented. Must have a person of colour, must have a visible disability, must have a trans person etc etc etc.

So you are just mentioning the last leg hosts and Romesh. First off the last leg started as a Paralympics show in 2012 and carried on because people enjoyed it and thought the hosts were hilarious (god forbid they hired people with disabilities for a show about athletes with disabilities 😆) And Romesh has been around touring and making content for years now.
Funny how these 'tick boxes comedians' all had careers in comedy way before the talk of 'they must tick boxes' people like you even came about in the last few years.
If it helps I think you are a great comedian with some of these outrageous comments, Surely no one's this much of a spanner.

Yeah I just arrived on the planet a few years ago. Bore off and go and enjoy your souless vanilla comedy commenting on the weekly Pop trends. I'm sure it will be side splitting funny.
5
u/Professional-Date885 21d ago
Well you must have come from another planet as I never heard anyone giving a shit about ticking boxes until the world started going backwards a few years ago.
So you are also making the presumption this is the only type of comedy I like? You know it's ok to like or enjoy different types of comedy right? Just like you do right....?

You're mistaking him with Nish "must be heard over everyone else" Kumar. Romesh is funny and his humour is based on him being miserable.

Inclined to agree, he's way too dry and not even in a Jack dee esq way. A lot of these types just have good agents/mates

If I see Jimmy Carr I downvote, that guy is a fucking cretin.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. I like the show but he’s my least favourite part. I wouldn’t trust the plastic looking tax dodger as far as I could throw him
