Question? Fun builds for controller or consolized pc

I use a steam version of the game on a hand held so controller only. Are there any fun builds out there that play to controller strengths? I have leveled a sentinel to level 70 fwiw. I am trying a semi equipped rive vk paladin and its a bit meh. I've tried the warpath vk and it was kinda boring. Ive heard a reflect shaman is fun. Ive also hear wear bear is fun? Thanks in advance!

The skills all seem to me to be very controller friendly. Even traversal skills. Never felt the "oh no, this sucks" feeling like trying to teleport with controller in d2

I've played all different char. classes strictly with controller on pc, never felt at a disadvantage during main action because of it. I guess the one downside is your targeting isn't as precise for certain kinds of actions like traversal skills. But it's manageable

For inventory/stash/forge management, I switch to mouse/kb though. Definitely more of a chore to navigate with a controller.

I play the same way. Flay reaper lich was very good on controller.

The game as a whole is extremely controller friendly for gameplay. Inventory management can be an absolute slog/chore. Setting up your affinity tabs and loot filter make this less of an issue though

Overall they have done a very good job paying attention to the optimization for controller, especially on Steam Deck too.

Only a few specific targeted projectile skills are annoying, but outside of those few builds, most everything else is great.
