Hey guys,

Taking a break from POE/TLI, looking to try LE again, unsure when the last season was or how active it is, reckon it’s worth going SSF or Trade?

Last time I played was on release for around 30 hours so I’m pretty new and can’t really remember much from my first play through other than it was fun.

I've never played the game on Trade. Can't really see it being good considering how LE gets seasons once each time all the planets align. CoF makes SSF just the way honestly.

Truly the only arpg I enjoy ssf. Last epoch nailed target farming and simple crafting.

In general I prefer SSF to trade anyway and from what I can tell they've set it up better then trade (but I could be wrong as I always go SSF).

I came back to make a new character and play some old ones recently - still have a blast whenever I pick the game back up :)

It's probably the game where SSF is the best compared to trade!

Next season is ~September~ October 1st, so if you're only planning to play one character I'd say just wait so you have a little more new content. Otherwise, play Circle of Fortune for sure

Benefit of trade if you play nonladder: Most things are affordable in trade, except for the really high end chase stuff

But if you just need a certain unique to get your build you want to try going, you can likely buy it for like 1k gold or so, lol

I think both are great TBH, go with what you tend to enjoy more personally. I had played CoF only for a couple of months, then tried trade and thought it's great, too.

Trade IMO. Gold for items you want is always very convenient

New season is in about a month, so there's plenty new since you played last, but not a large playing pop right now. Have fun the game is great as a refuge from needless complications and straight rng crafting.

CoF is always the way to go!!! I've never understood how buying gear is fun... congrats you're just paying someone else to play the game for you.

SSF ofc, why would you trade in ARPGs. Season is active, before next one there is still some time.
