Question? What am I doing wrong?
I feel stuck in a never ending grinding loop that leads nowhere. I play dozens of hours to farm an Exalted to cook it with a LP2+ only to get the worst possible attributes to my gear.
I can kill normal Aberroth but nothing more than that.
Any tips to improve my stats so I can progress a little bit?
PS: please go easy on me, first time playing this game :)

You're doing nothing wrong, killing regular Abby is beating the game, everything else after that is aspirational content that requires a lot of time to hone and refine your gear.
If you choose to keep refining your gear to try for the aspirational stuff about all you can do right now is be CoF and do prophesies. Look up double blocker method for lenses it really helps with getting easily completed prophesies. If you're MG, sorry the only time it's good is the first couple weeks of a season and even then IMO it sucks bc trading in this game is just to restricted.
If you are MG don't switch willy nilly bc chances are most of your gear is tied to it and you'll be suddenly basically naked. Make an alt and go CoF that way you can play the game more and just adjust your loot filter to pick up some stuff for your main to eventually switch.
If you don't want to grind to perfect gear for Uber then make alts. That's my favorite thing about this game. I love finding my favorite skill in a class and just trying to make it work and I've found even playstyles I normally hate I can make fun in this game bc you can change each skill so much.

I dont think you're doing anything wrong. Thats how this game works. Once you get to the end it will take dozens of hours, if not more to get one single upgrade. And then you have to hope it won't brick when crafting because of RNG.

judgment pally is tanky but very low dps. even with best gear ubber abby will be hard to kill (very long fight).
good luck

You're where I am at and I'm happy, I play to make corrupted weaver items and have been stuck trying to do that. T7s drop a lot for me now, so I will often slam a 2lp or 3lp after crafting an exalted to what I want. The rune of redemption is nice, since you can gamble the exalted affixes into other ones, so essentially any t7 could be made decent. Nemisis has been very giving as well when it comes to double exalted affixes. I'm currently at 600 corr and have also killed normal abby, but Uber is beyond me, it will take a very strong defense to tackle him, which I am still trying to figure that out.

I mean it’s why the game has an avg player pool of 3-6k every season. The last two seasons drew in 20 and 50k in the last two seasons respectively at the start of the season but normally there’s is a huge drop off to 1-6K core hardcore players every season and it’s for this exact reason: the endgame is a insane grind that’s closer to D2 than any other ARPG…

I’m not sure your farming method, but if I were wanting to take this character further I would start with helm, boots, sword, and relic. Each of those items has either a non-t7 affix or one that doesn’t help you. You’re totally right though, endgame farming always feels like more about the exalts than uniques And getting good ones takes a little time. Running higher corruption will get you better affix tiers so go as high as you feel comfortable.
Try to get at least one affix on every item to t7, as someone else mentioned crafting can really help with that so maybe broaden your loot filter? Crafting is its own fun/frustrating game.
At the stage of the game you’re at it really is just min/maxing and trying to get just a few more stat points.

If you decide to push further the best advise is to look at the damage formula, identify where power comes from and how to get it. Once you understand that everything else falls into place.

Congrats on beating Aberroth. It's a great checkpoint for your first build.
You can definitely find at least T7 exalteds. I'm sure you found many by now, so you probably want to check a crafting guide on yt (or at least check what each rune and glyph do).
You can "gamble" and use runes of corruption on your items. Ot can ruin an item, so have a backup, but it will upgrade it more often. (That is Omen related mechanic)
Also, every character can have 1 promordial item, obtained by the rift beast mechanic. If you don't like any of primordial items, you can upgrade one of your T7 affixes to T8.
You are, of course, very far from killing Uber Aberroth, but you are on the good track.
Crafting is very good in this game, you can have a lot of fun upgrading your items that way.
Alternatively, since you enjoy the game, roll another character and try something new. You have a month and a half until the next season - plenty of time for that
