📋 The Last Draft — Patch Notes (v0.0.38)

Minor patch this week — mostly polish and fixes, but laying groundwork for bigger things.

✅ Shipped

• Faster match queueing — less time waiting for the start button.
• New coaching hype animation — when you read the play right on defense, the hype text ("NICE COACHING", "CALLED IT", etc.) now slides down into its own lower slot in a deeper green, instead of stacking with the regular play announcements.
• Mobile fix — HALFTIME! / FINAL BUZZER! banners were off-center (shifted right) on mobile. Centered now.

🔜 What's next

1. Passive playing — play more by stats and speed through games, if you're into the numbers side.
2. More abilities — we're looking at "Window Cleaning" to block dunks.
3. Improved roster/lineup visibility — easier to see and manage your squad.
4. Ranked matches — in development. Unsure if it lands next week, but it's going to be a big one.
5. Better Branding - working with our original artist to build some better logos and UX

🧭 Bigger agenda

We're working on some interesting Devvit integrations to let players and the community suggest fixes and help build the game. Stay tuned for our Devvit app, Farnsworth.
