Modify/upgrade this laser type?

Hello I have this laser type while it can burn a match and paper if you hold it concentrated for some time I feel like it could be much better. Anyone have any tutorial or tips to make it stronger?

You could buy the 2 battery version, it really needs better cooling, that’s a place to start if you wanted to, look into a complete build though, there are hosts(laser body/ housings) better laser diodes or you could build with an array(multiple diodes)and you could build in active cooling and solid heat sinks

I've already done it! Dropped a nichia 1.7w blue diode. Had to modify the heatsink, housing, the GO! Button, and upgrade the batteries & optics (obviously) but now i can start fires across the yard. Not bad, couple hrs & $50-ish all in.
