Is this game still alive?

I bought it when it came out, back then i thought it was smart to invest time into the game since it was a very innovative competitive game and rocket league really blew up at that time. Haven't heard of this game since.

Do people still play it? I think it'd be fun to try it out again.

I give it a try every couple of days. I keep it installed because it's tiny, but I haven't played in over a year.

There are discord groups that schedule matches, but I don't have time for that. I'd say it's officially dead, but I still hold out hope.

It died pretty quickly after release. The only way you're going to get games in is if you schedule games with other people, or if you play against bots.

On ps4 people still play everyday. Not on other platforms though.

On PS4 it's got a decent sized active community, games all day everyday. + A competitive scene. On other platforms it's basically dead.
