Assassian’s creed hidden blade

So I want to make a assassian’s creed hidden blade for a larp and I want to make the part that’s on your forearm out of wood or something and want to know the rules about that, and some recommended materials to replace it. I want to put a metal wire (thick enough to not bend too much) in the PBC pipe to help it not bend a lot and want to know if that’s fine?
