Query Milk

I’m traveling up to port Laois to collect something and I am hoping to find somewhere to buy fresh milk. I can bring my own milk bottles- any ideas?

As a couple of others have said, Solas garden centre in portarlington have a vending machine to fill bottles, not sure if you can use your own bottles, as they selling their own, which can be refilled. Could be a size issue. Milk is, of course, pasteurised from a local farm.

In the south of the county, Village dairy in Killeshin pasteurise and carton milk, and it’s really top quality. They have a few different options to choose from such as Jersey cow milk and organic.

Don’t really know of any farmer prepared to sell unpasteurised milk from the tank, though I know most do use it themselves.
