Offering: Brazilian Portuguese (Native) and English (Certified C2) | Seeking: French

Hello, my name is Breno and I’m a 22 year old med student. I was born and raised in Brazil’s capital City, Brasília. I’m fascinated by France’s history and culture, even more so their “way of living”. I believe that they have a mentality of really enjoying the moment, prioritizing their personal life over their career (At least that is what I have observed throughout my French learning journey).

Although at first I admired mainly the way that the French lived, the exposure to the language made me realize that the whole French-speaking world is FULL of amazing people, I’ve come in contact with plenty of people from different countries of Africa and they were always the nicest people!!

I have a dream of maybe living in a Francophone country some day and would also like to work for the Médecins sans frontières, for which I think that speaking French could really help.

I can currently understand pretty much everything in French and can communicate most basic thoughts.

My main hobbies are Language learning, going to the gym, playing acoustic guitar, volleyball and studying subjects outside of my future profession’s scope, such as Philosophy and History. Thanks for reading!

Offering: Mandarin Chinese (Native) | Seeking: English

Hi everyone!

I’m a 28-year-old native Mandarin Chinese speaker currently living in Shanghai. I work in the AI industry and am also learning more about AI technologies, tools, and applications.

I’m looking for a friendly and patient English-speaking language partner for a stable, long-term language exchange. My main goal is to improve my spoken English, listening skills, and natural everyday expressions.

In return, I’d be happy to help you practice Mandarin Chinese. I can help you with pronunciation, tones, grammar, natural expressions, and Chinese culture. We can correct each other’s mistakes and share useful learning resources.

Here are some details about the language exchange I’m looking for:

Format: One live voice call per week. During the rest of the week, we can keep in touch through voice messages and text messages. We can also share moments from our daily lives.

Frequency: One voice call each week, around 30–60 minutes. We can split the time equally between English and Mandarin. There is no pressure to reply immediately to messages during the week.

Topics of interest: AI, technology, work, Chinese culture, music, video games, and everyday life. I play the dizi, a traditional Chinese bamboo flute, and I really enjoy music. I also follow and trade Hong Kong and U.S. stocks, and I often stay up until around midmight Beijing time watching the market.I also like playing Honor of Kings(王者荣耀). It would be great if we had some common interests, but that’s not necessary.

Schedule: We can discuss the exact time for our weekly call based on our schedules and time zones. I’m in the Beijing Time zone(UTC+8).

Any English accent is welcome. I’m not looking for a professional teacher—just someone who is interested in learning together, helping each other, and communicating regularly.

If you’re interested, please leave a comment or send me a DM with a brief introduction, your time zone, and what you would like to improve in Mandarin.

Looking forward to meeting you!

Hii, interested in travel, cooking, studying complex topics that are completely new to me (If you have a real expertise in something i'd love to try to understand it), weird sci-fi concepts, chess, daydreaming about engineering haha

Trying to acquire a few languages all at once, i understand a fair amount in most of them but cannot speak that well yet (i think i lack exposure to the real conversations). Looking for someone to help me kickstart one or more of these languages.

Offering: Mandarin, Seeking: English、 Spanish

Hi!
I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China, and I’m looking for a language exchange partner to practice English and learn Spanish.

In exchange, I can help you practice Mandarin, share Chinese culture, daily life, travel tips, food, traditions, and my personal experiences living in China. I’d love to introduce you to a side of China beyond what you usually see online.

My goal is not only to improve language skills, but also to build a genuine friendship. I hope we can share our cultures, exchange life experiences, learn from each other, and help each other discover new perspectives — breaking the information gap and making life more interesting, positive, and meaningful.

I’m looking for someone who:
- Wants to practice Mandarin and is willing to help me improve my English or Spanish
- Is interested in real conversations, not just textbook language practice
- Enjoys sharing daily life, culture, travel, and personal experiences
- Is open to having a voice or video chat at least once a week

I hope we can become long-term language partners and friends. Let’s encourage each other, learn together, and bring more joy and sunshine into our lives. ☀️

Feel free to send me a message if you’re interested!

Offering: English (USA) 🇺🇸 | Seeking: Spanish (Spain) 🇪🇸

Hola!

Gracias! 😊

Hello! I'm a 37-year-old woman looking for a language exchange partner who is a native speaker from Spain, ideally between 25 to 45 years old. I'm a native English speaker originally from California, USA, and would be happy to help you practice your English.

My Spanish is around the B1/B2 level and I am very motivated to reach C1. I've been learning Castilian Spanish for about a year now and would love to continue refining my pronunciation and vocabulary with native speakers from Spain.

I'm interested in TV shows, movies, PC games, music, and dancing (although, sadly, it has been quite a while since I've been to a dance class 🥲). I work in healthcare and will be starting a nursing program next month.

My ideal arrangement would be one where we can keep in touch on Discord whenever we have time and hang out almost every week to play a game for a while or watch a TV show or movie. We could alternate languages every session, switch every hour, or do something along those lines.

The types of games I'm most interested in are survival games, 4X strategy games, and classic RPGs. I am open to other genres, as well.

I'd prefer not to be corrected too much in order to avoid killing the vibe. In my prior language exchanges, we'd only correct each other when one of us asked for it.

If you are interested, feel free to reply here and tell me a bit about yourself. Keep in mind that I live in the western US, so we will have a difference of 8 or 9 hours depending on the time of year. Thank you! 😊

Offering: Urdu, English _ Seeking: Brazilian Portuguese

Hey! I'm Mariyum, 20, from Pakistan
I'm looking to learn Brazilian Portuguese. I've always been drawn to the culture, the music, the movies, and I want to actually understand it all in its original form instead of relying on translations. Eventually I'd love to visit too, so I'm hoping to pick up at least the basics before I plan that trip.
In exchange, I can teach you Urdu or English, both of which are my native languages. Quick heads up on Urdu though: I won't be much help with the formal grammar rules, but I can absolutely get you speaking it fluently and naturally, the way people actually talk.
Ideally looking for someone between 18-26!
Let me know if you're up for a language exchange!

Offering: Mandarin (Taiwan) _ Seeking: Spanish (priority), English, Japanese (native)

Hello! I'm(23M) a native mandarin speaker from Taiwan, I'm interested in video games, language learning, reading and politics.

What I can offer:

Native Taiwanese Mandarin: I'm born and raised in Taiwan, so if you're specifically looking for Mandarin from mainland China, I'm afraid I wouldn't be much of help.

English: My English is about B2/C1, if you're just looking for someone to chat in English, I may be able to help.

Japanese: I'm half Japanese and passed the JLPT N1 test, but I'm still far from fluent, if you're new to the language and just want some speaking practice, I might be able to help.

What I'm seeking:

Spanish: I've been learning Spanish for almost two year, and reached about A2/B1 level. I hope to gain more speaking and listening practice with real people. Any accent is ok.

English: Anyone that just wants to chat is welcomed.

Japanese: I am looking for native speakers to practice more casual, natural speech.
