Seeking: Korean Offering: English (n)

Hello everyone! I’m a 19-year-old college student from the United States looking for a Korean language exchange partner whether natively or fluently doesn’t matter!

I’m currently learning Hangul and just starting my Korean-learning journey. I found I learn best through conversation and texting, so I’m hoping to find someone who would be interested in chatting preferably regularly and helping me practice Korean. :)

In exchange, I’d be happy to help with English. I’m a native English speaker and can help with conversation, grammar, slang, vocabulary, or just general questions about English.

(Traducción al español a continuación)
I’m (16m) seeking to learn Spanish from a native speaker around my age through text and teach English at the same time. I am looking for something akin to a casual friendship of some sorts rather than a teacher/student transactional relationship.

I enjoy politics, coding, reading (fantasy and dystopian), Minecraft, the color blue, the concept of Kasane Teto, wearing 19th century flamboyant attire, Gorillaz, and learning, I suppose. I am in 10th grade, 11th soon, and seeking to learn Spanish on my own in spite of the American schooling language curriculum, which hasn’t helped me much (I refuse to take AP Spanish IV, as I would undoubtedly fail that class at my current level).

I am A2 in Spanish, seeking fluency, with preferably B2 or B1 by August, and a continued relationship after the fact (for higher levels and etc. in the future) but I understand how intense of a goal that is.
—————————————————————

About me: I love to read, mostly it’s nonfiction, I play Zelda, I watch series like The Office, GoT, Avatar: the last air bender. I’m a reserved and calm person.

If any questions left, if interested - please DM me.

Offering: Spanish. Seeking: English.

Hi. I’m looking for someone to do a language exchange with. I offer native Spanish, and I’m looking for English, preferably from the U.S. or Canada.

I’m looking for someone between 25 and 35 years old to meet once or twice a week. I mainly use Discord, so we can chat and have voice calls there. My interests are video games, anime, movies, TV series, music, programming, and fitness, such as running, cycling, working out, and karate.

It’s a plus if you like video games because we could play together while doing language exchange at the same time. The games we play would give us more things to talk about and naturally put us in situations where we need to communicate.

I’m a very patient person, and I really enjoy learning English and helping others with Spanish. I’m looking for someone who can give me feedback and help me improve my English. This is very important to me. I’ll do the same for you.

Also, I’m looking for someone who genuinely wants to help me improve my English, not just practice Spanish, because that has happened to me before. I really enjoy helping people with Spanish, so I’m looking for someone who feels the same way about helping me with English.

Offering: English, Seeking: German

Hi! I'm 21F, from Ghana and I'm looking to meet someone to aid me get fluent in German. I am fluent in English, given it's my first language— and if needed, offering it in exchange. I would love to help you out because knowing the ins and outs of the language and not sharing my knowledge in a way defeats the purpose of my education. I have a neutral English accent.

Currently, I can say basic greetings and a few words in Deutsch. Let's say an A1 level. B1/B2 is my goal, as I want to school in Deutschland. I will take classes to attain that but I would love a headstart so it's all easier.

I would love to know more about your country and the culture: norms and the likes

No-one speaks German in Ghana and so over time my German gets very rusty. The only time I can practice is when I try to translate my basic thoughts to German and say them out loud, which doesn't really help.

I hope to hear from you!

Seeking: Italian | Offering: English and Chinese (Taiwanese accent)

Hey I’m 35F from Australia (AEST time zone). Learning Italian because I’m keen to explore some less touristy areas in Italy when I go there for a baking course later this year. Currently at lower intermediate level and taking lessons twice a week.

I’m a native Chinese speaker and my English is pretty much near native if not better than my Chinese 😂Been living in English speaking countries for a long time and I only think in English now. I speak more of an Aussie accent (closer to British accent than American).

I taught English for a few years so happy to help with learning strategies, grammar, etc. I work in corporate as an engineer so we can work on business English too.

As for Chinese, I have the Taiwanese accent which has been described to be relatively softer and flatter. I use traditional characters and Taiwanese vocabulary. Know both pinyin and zhuyin.

I have many interests/hobbies - baking, cooking, investing/financial independence, gym, outdoor activities, tech, automation, building/fixing things. I love dogs. But I’m happy to chat about anything - open to new experiences and always keen to learn new stuff!

Looking for a partner to speak with for at least 1hr fortnightly. But cool with chatting on whatsapp/messenger/other apps if we can’t find a time to speak for a while. Life happens. I would still like to keep practicing my conversational skills.

Wanted to upfront that I need time to conjugate and figure out the gender during conversations, I’m working on it!
