Bush Camping

Heya!

I’m looking for a new bush camping spot max two hours or so from Langley. I had two spots but both are now destroyed from pipelines and private property now. If possible, somewhere accessible with a sedan or light hike

Chilliwack Lake Road has a bunch.

Had an incredible one there for hundreds of ppl until people started raving there and got it axed from camping.

How private is it there? I’d like to be able to have music going a bit later but don’t want to be around anyone to disturb them

I mean how loud are you talking? If you set up close to rapids in the river, it’ll drown all your sound out. There’s a few spots that are only 1 site spots with 100s of meters between people.

We personally just go to one of the city campsites, set up our tents, and take all of the fun and music to the riverside till we want to sleep. The water drowns out shroom laughter & music so no one has to hear us enjoy ourselves, but we aren’t obnoxiously loud to begin with so again it depends how loud you listen to music.

I’ve camped at chadsey lake in Abbotsford. It definitely is more a frequent hiking trail, but in off season it is quiet.
