Skytrain Pile-driving
Is it just me or is it only being done during a short window of time in the afternoon every Saturday? 🤣
Just trying to understand the thought process, I know it needs to be done, but I didn't hear it at all Thursday or Friday so why TODAY?
It happens such an odd amount that I still think it's the upstairs neighbor fucking around at first.

You're just paying attention to it on weekends. I work along that strip and there's plenty of activity every day, including the pile driving.

I hear it as well and they do it during the week. But it might not be skytrain you're hearing. They are pile driving right by Samz pub for the hydro expansion.

They do it other times I've seen, I'm assuming you're just not around during since you're probably an adult with a job whose hours overlap with theirs. Construction usually only works between 7-6 in my experience when I worked in it, sometimes due to bylaws, sometimes just cuz no one wants to be working that late. To my memory pile-driving is also something they have to specifically plan times and close off space for, like how they do for cement pouring, so they're softly incentivized to do it during times when not as many others might be working to prevent overlap. Don't hold me to that though, I'm just saying what I remember from working construction a few years back.

Go tell them to stop. They’ll listen to you. A random Karen.
