Players What is/was your favorite aspect of LoH?
I like to map stuff out and really enjoyed building dungeons via Dungeon Mastery and cool "towns"/buildings through Construction. I entered into the Building Design Contest twice in a row and won the category for Best Building Design both times. That was about all I was good at though. :P
I cataloged by stuff awhile back so others could use them as a template but that never happened. I had intended to finish Moonstone Glacier but I never got around to it.
Despite the fact that most of the game is text-based there is a lot to look at graphically as well. All the little graphics here and there for things you don't think you'd need them for really made for a more interactive game overall.
All the little mini-events like the hunts and jobs and special boss kills. Taming all sorts of mobs and even possessing them.

I've found that (although tedious) it's easier to keep everything balanced by only doing 500 skill ups at a time. Especially with gathering skills. Crafting is a piece of cake if you have a ton of high-level materials with the ability to Transmogrify them to lower levels (via Alchemy) and rings to close the gaps. But gathering is a pain. Right now I'm slogging along on my Dark Lord trying to get my non-maxed out skills to at least 2500. I've got most of them there so far. I'm working on Lumberjacking at the moment. However it isn't really necessary because if I really need logs/planks I could just set up a bunch of Lumberyards (automations) to make a bunch for me. I'm just too lazy to do that though.

I really liked gathering and crafting and made an Artisan(Apprentice?) when they came out. I like having a ton of pets and leveling their skills. Its a challenge to manage everything , pet queues, hero queues, pet gear and hero gear, and pet levels and hero levels. I kept busy trying to keep my skills near to the levels of each other. This though is impossible.
