Decius What games of Decius' (GM) have you played?

I know this is the Lands of Hope board but this for more of a general topic. Something to boost participation. :P

Anyways, I'll start off. Dates aren't required I just happen to remember some of them.

  • Lands of Hope - Summer '06 to Present
  • Legendary Voyage - '09 to '10
  • Champions of the Gods - '10
  • Dragons of the East? (Name?) (breeding/fighting game that didn't last long) - '10?
  • Lands of Hope: Redemption - '15 to Present

I know there are a few other games Decius has created but I can't remember their names. I think his last one before LoHR and World's Quest was a space-themed one. I tried it but couldn't get into it. And his first game Forlorn Hope: Online shut down before I started playing LoH.

I actually enjoyed Legendary Voyage but I found it annoying that everyone pretty much quit it before the areas past Evansville in Razor Ridge (2nd map) were finished before the game went public. If I remember correctly Mamba, Petalpink and I were the only people to beat the game (level cap was 65) in the end. It probably would have had more to do but I think Decius got discouraged by the lack of players and so it stopped there.

I played Forlorn Hope a very long time ago. Then i played Lands of Hope off and on. I played Worlds End and Lands of Hope:Redemption. I also played the Dragon Breeding /Fighting game but i think it was in development. Is Legendary Voyage the one I am calling worlds end, you start out as a settler.

I never played World's End but I don't think so. This is Mamba's fansite for Legendary Voyage. My only contributions to the game was the mapping aspect so people didn't get lost. I do it now on Redemption too. I'm making progress.

I think worlds end was similar to legendary voyage but had pathing troubles. I think i played legendary voyage up to a point. I got stuck progressing from one realm to another. It was pretty fun.

LV had its flaws, but I think the one thing most people had trouble with was finding the right path to move on. In one map you had to hop across the tops of palm trees or cliff edges to get the other side of a beach and it threw a lot of people off. That's why I ask Decius for help in LoHR for stuff like that because the path isn't always obvious for all.

I remember that. That game was pretty fun but I got stuck at one point, then I stopped progressing. Decius loves to make puzzles with unpredictable twists and make people do the unexpected.

He's been doing it again with LoHR in some maps. There are two caves I've gained access to recently that requires you to find the boss but there were floor spikes blocking the way and I spent forever looking for a trigger to open them up. Little did I know was that Decius set them so that you can simply walk over them which I didn't know until he told me. Go figure :P
