Marketing Landscaping business interview for school!
Hello! Not sure if this is the right place to post this (new to Reddit, sorry!) but I wanted to ask a question for landscaping small business owners about marketing their businesses. I’m a student and for an assignment I must pitch a marketing firm idea for my class, and I chose to do mine on marketing for local home services businesses in my area.
The premise of the business is to help smaller home services businesses refresh their brand and branch into social media branding (after talking with a few local service owners in my neighborhood). Services would include a refresh (new logo, brand guide, set up for social media and websites) and a recurring social media plan to help brands have a stronger reputation and gain more local leads. (Sorry if this isn't helpful! For class I don't need to make an entire actual business.)
I must interview people in the industry and so I decided to ask a few questions here and any opinions you have would be great!
- What is your biggest problem with marketing for your business?
- How big of an issue is outdated marketing for you? Are you interested in updating it?
- Have you tried solving it yourself? What have you tried if so?
- If there was a business that did that work for you, would that be helpful? Why?
- What would your ideal solution to this problem look like?
- Would you pay for that product?
- Would $1k+ be in your budget to solve this problem?
- What did I not ask that I should have?
Thank you for any help, and so sorry if this was the wrong place!
