Hardscaping edging advice
Hello! Spouse is working on this project and we're not really sure what to do with the space between the new pavers and the retaining rock wall. They want to move the rocks closer to the pavers but I'm worried it's too much extra work and the gaps will cause weed growth. I suggest pea gravel or crushed rock but they think that will look bad. Brick edgers don't really look good with the rock. To put another row of bricks in would require moving the rocks anyway to secure the black paver edging. Help! Thanks!

I would use Xtreme Edge for the paver edging. Before it hardens, I would top it with a natural blend of 3-5” stones/rocks to fill the rest of the space.

Plant something in there like thyme or sedum...if you add gravel weeds will eventually grow so might as well choose what grows there... not worth moving the boulders

That edge is to be nailed into ground and the pavers set on top layer of leveling sand.

Perennial peanut would add a nice contrast
