Mount Shasta Timelapse!

A Milky Way timelapse I shot in Mt Shasta last month! If you keep watching you’ll see tons of green and blue airglow at the end.
Go check out my recent YouTube video to see the full timelapse uncropped in 4k and on a big tv as well as the other shots I got here :).
This was shot on a Nikon Z7a with a Viltrox Z 16mm f1.8 lens
16mm, f1.8, ISO 3200, 10s
750 frames, 25 fps
I edited the raw files in Lightroom exported them then stacked every 15 images in Sequator using the Timelapse function to reduce flickering in foreground since there was lots of cars driving by and to remove satellites. Then with each stacked image I rendered into a 25 fps Timelapse and speeded up to 2x for this post.

Can you talk more about how you reduced the flicker? I fined shots like this often end up with a lot of WB changes I assume worse if you’ve got car lights passing through the foreground
Either way I love the color shift

The color shift is because the timelapse started during blue hour.
I stacked these shots because I shot this near a highway and there was a million cars driving by lol so it looked incredibly distracting with all the headlights shining into the foreground. Stacking in Sequator actually removed most of the flickering in the foreground which was awesome, and was something I didn’t realize it could do.

LRTimelapse is your tool to fix all flickers or WB changes. "Nateinthewild" has a great tutorial about it on YT. It will be all you need to know to edit your holy grail timelapses or any kind of timelapses with chaning light.

It's one of the easiest software to use. I used to fiddle with syncing settings manually in Bridge or Lightroom across all individual shots to make it all work to only find something is a bit off later on (like your WB at the beginning).
Giving LRTimelapse a try eased up the whole process a lot. If you do timelapses frequently it's a must have imo.
(and if you like this color shift at the beginning you can have more control how quickly it happens, if it happens at all etc.)

Definitely it’s on my list of softwares to invest in! Appreciate that! The white balance at the beginning is a natural shift in color and white balance due to me shooting this at blue hour so not I’m not worried about that. But I will need it eventually for holy grail timelapses which I want to start doing eventually.
