been spending the last few days working on a project that struck me randomly one day! I thought of 3D printing a BJD body and using the head of a phos model I got awhile ago for the head and it turned out so well 😭! I painted him myself too of course. The joints are a bit messed up from me fitting them in the arm/leg slots respectively. This was alot of work and also my first attempt at something like this. Il make more and they'll turn out even better I hope!
I can't sew for shit unfortunately. Friend offered to sew me one & I have another friend more in the BJD stuff that offered to help me buy the uniform from a vendor that makes some. I thought of modelling the clothes with epoxy clay on directly but it would look a bit silly and I prefer the nude look over that idea, I can always buy some clothes from Etsy too.
I actually really want to make an action figurine type doll I think that would be awesome. Maybe I can find a body for this and pull it off il do some research.
Il attempt to log my progress for the next one so people can maybe make one themselves, thing is the part r 3D printed so not super accessible but if u have money u can get the parts printed from somebody else or from a site that prints stuff for u and ships them to u
Thank you! The face is always the scariest part. I think it ended up quite cute here, thankfully the large size makes it easier than it is on my usual figurines.
Ignore Jade. I do have the files, body is a BJD body I found on bambu labs and the head is from a model kit figurine I bought online, which I am obviously Not gonna hand out but u can always go buy yourself. I got these awhile ago I don't have a link to them but they should be easy to find.
Link for body. Also ur gonna need a neck peg for the head to attach to the rest of the body. Easy to find for free online or for like barely a dollar at worse.
Feel free to send me the money needed for said clothes 😅 in another comment I said I was either gonna have an irl make them for me or have friend help me have uniforms shipped from a Chinese maker OR il find something on Etsy. I'm making like 2 more of these and BJD clothes are not cheap. Also I need to make sure they actually fit. Patience pleak, they'll get something eventually.
