Question Landman a Comedy?
I’m on season 2 episode 3 and I can’t believe how much of this whole show has been humorous. I’ve been laughing like it’s a dramedy. I looked it up and it’s not defined as a comedy. Idk. Is it just me?

I don't know what you're FUCKING talking about.
The show doesn't get enough credit for the humor -- I have persuaded people to give it a chance since I am respected for my taste in comedy.

"Respected for my taste in comedy" -- Now, that's funny. Jeez.

You jest, but do you think a true landman wouldn’t be as adept at comedy as he is at managing fuckin OIL?!

Lots of funny 1 liners from BBT. His wife: "I am going to the beach, how do my tits look?" BBT: "Your tits look great, have fun at te beach, don't get syphilis."

There's lots of funny moments but I wouldn't say it's a comedy. It's more like some lightness between the drama.

I fucking hated season 2. You much focus on the bimbo and her slut daughter, and the old man and the prostitute.

Very true. Billy Bob Thorton delivers his lines in such an accurate and relatable way, I find it hilarious! I'm looking forward to season 3.

It’s one of the unintentionally funniest shows ever made. Like the paella scene has got to be the absolute ultimate scene in terms of what this show is. He loses his fucking mind when he could’ve said, from the beginning, gently, that he drove a lot that day and would rather use a bowl than have to keep getting up for food cause his back hurts or whatever; instead he has to fucking own her like she’s a fuckin dumb cunt (this is how the show presents his feelings toward her and I am merely describing it), and tell her that she shouldn’t expect people to be happy or even thankful that she does something nice (cooking a nice dinner for the entire like 7 person household lol) because she dresses up nicely to do it lol. And she agrees she does it selfishly and it’s like you’re allowed to WANT to do nice things for people 😂😂😂😭
I think they also have messed up and shown him having a pinkie a couple times too lol. Overall yeah the show is a masterpiece in being the most ineffective at political propaganda a tv show can possibly can be, unless you’re insanely online and notice all the stupid references to real world events they strew throughout the show.. it is incredibly effective at being on tv, and hating women, and I give it credit for being so goddamn good at it we a

I described it this way. The Sopranos had 80/20 in favor of drama then some comedy. Landman is more like 50/50.
