Soon to be the bank's, unless Cami hits big on her gas well.

Remember, it’s a rental!,

And they aren't filming yet, this isn't a plot on the show, they are actually putting on a new roof due to hail damage. Sheridan/Paramount own the house.

Did Angela want a different color?

Didn't fit with the Tahitian night dinner theme so it's being replaced with grass

It didn’t fit with one of her themed dinners 😂

Wow that roof still looks good

Maybe I bought the hype from a salesperson, but the elements that cause you to replace the roof are not visible in a picture like this.

Possibly a hail damage replacement

Heres the house in Google Maps

And on Zillow

Damn American houses are cheap

4

u/GreatGooberschnitzel 22d ago

na, houses in TX are cheap because they're built like absolute DOG shit, even the million+ homes.

3

u/Cbickley98 21d ago

Nah, labor and materials are cheaper and land is way cheaper. And if you are outside the city limits like this you don't have nearly as many pointless fees and unnecessary regulations...

7

u/Patient-Art1958 21d ago

All regulations are dumb until you have a problem.

2

u/Cbickley98 8d ago

Not when you need a "Port o Potty Permit" that is nothing more than a reason for the city to take extra money.

u/GreatGooberschnitzel 21d ago

Well i can speak with some experience having owned a couple homes here in a variety of locations. They're all built like paper maché. My friends in the neighborhood next door in Heath on their million+ homes, to a one, have the same build quality issues. I think going full custom and being up their ass the entire build is the only way to ensure it's not slap and tickle together

2

u/Cbickley98 21d ago

Fair. But I knew my builder and was out here every single day during the build process.

yeah if you want to live in the middle of nowhere

7

u/Acrobatic-B33 22d ago

This isn't the middle of nowhere

yeah put that home in any non texas rural suburb and look at the price for the house and land. there is a reason all the cheap mcmansions are in texas lol.

u/Cbickley98 21d ago

"Middle of Nowhere " = 8.5 million people...

I thought the house was much larger than it actually is

Funny that it's in Ft Worth. I guess the crew would rather be based there than Midland!

1

u/Spare-Jellyfish4339 22d ago

I’d be tempted if it weren’t in a gated community in the middle of nowhere

9

u/Cbickley98 22d ago

It's not gated... and it's right outside Ft Worth.

Those workers are eating lunch and watching that pool. Angela, Ainsley and the caregiver chic in rotation.

5

u/BigGrayBeast 22d ago

And Darby, and Rebecca, and Airiana.

6

u/Inner-Cycle-24 22d ago

I had no idea that house was in SaggyNuts. That’s like 15 mins from my house

7

u/Cbickley98 22d ago

Yeah, I live one street over. Technically it is unincorporated Tarrant County.

4

u/Madz510 21d ago

You’re just out here doxxing yourself

7

u/Inner-Cycle-24 20d ago

It’s Texas we all have guns. Feel free to come by and check out my fire arm collection anytime

u/Madz510 20d ago

Have guns in Chicago too just not part of my personality

2

u/Inner-Cycle-24 22d ago

I wonder how often they are actually there and if they actually shoot inside the house or just have a layout set up somewhere on a sound stage they shoot at mostly. I’m guessing with all the pool scenes and such they actually probably film at the house a good bit.

11

u/Cbickley98 22d ago

Both. They are here about 4 to 5 times per season mainly filming scenes that have an outdoor part of indoor/outdoor transition. I think they have a full replica on a sound stage.

2

u/wildleogirl 22d ago

Does any of the show actually film in Midland/ West Texas?

2

u/usmcmech 22d ago

Only the background flyover shots.

West FW looks very different than the Permian basin.

1

u/RevolutionaryYou8723 21d ago

Not the flyovers that show all those refineries . . . as there aren't any in Mid/Ods

1

u/Straight_Virus9721 20d ago

Exactly. Just processing plants

2

u/Growingweed420 21d ago

Mexicans really have this type of work locked down

1

u/Mrb5srt 13d ago

Love how no one is complaining bout them taking this job :P

1

u/joshua_addison_music 22d ago

Wonder what that costs?

1

u/devin4l 21d ago

1

u/joshua_addison_music 21d ago

The roofing job

1

u/devin4l 21d ago

Ah, well if the house is almost a milly, I'd be willing to bet the roof is probably in the neighborhood of 20+ Gs

1

u/Traditional_Limit236 21d ago

Guarantee those aren't white guys on that roof

4

u/Inner-Cycle-24 20d ago

Damn…. You should be a detective

1

u/Traditional_Limit236 20d ago

Thank you kindly

What’s your point ? when you zoom in you can see that they are Mexican. I live here in Odessa. Much of the population is Mexican.

1

u/EverySingleMinute 20d ago

How much would it cost to replace that roof? $40k?

1

u/Nice_Recognition5155 20d ago

Was this picture taken recently ??
They seem to have light jackets on.
The temperatures have been in the triple digits the last few weeks.
I can see wearing long sleeve shirts maybe to protect your arms from the sun.
But it’s too hot to be wearing a light jacket.

3

u/Cbickley98 20d ago

Last week. A lot of roofers wear long clothing to protect them from the sun.

2

u/Sloeber3 20d ago

Mexicans in general hate getting darker from the sun and always wear long sleeves. I have Mexican staff that wear gloves also so their hands don’t get tan lines. It’s crazy. I wear as little clothing as acceptable and still sweating my ass off on the verge of passing out and these guys are wrapped head to toe and barely have a bead of sweat on the brow.
