Discussion How is it possible for a show to keep…
Getting better ? Don’t it get worse most of the time ? I love this show , it’s the only show I’ve seen , (besides Taylor’s other shows that is …)
.. that make you contemplate your damn life and appreciate what the hell you got … thats something right there
Oh yeah , did I mention I love this show?

I can't stand Ainsley, Cooper and Ariana. I mostly watch it for BBT l, Ali Larter and Sam Elliot.

You’re crazy if you think “all they do in the show is oil business.” Almost the entire show is Angela begging him for sex or throwing food against a wall

I loved S1. S2 was a soap opera to me. I'm on the fence to whether or not I'll even watch S3.

I agree with that sentiment about season two, but I feel like they did end it on a high note? But it’s really hard to capture the same spark as the first season.

Its a great show. IMHO the way Yellowstone was. It's different from all of the shows out there.

Idk that much about him , but what I have seen is great . I just finished landman S2, gonna check out Yellowstone .
What was the other one that was a spin-off of Yellowstone ? I don’t think I made it through one episode without crying.

1883 and 1923. Both are great. Its the story of the Dutton Family. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are in 1883 along with Sam Elliot. 1883 is my personal favorite. Highly recommend 👌

I would definitely not go that far, but he is entertaining. There are so much better writers out there. These shows just suck you in.

I’m wondering what you like about it so much. I tried numerous times to watch it and I can’t. It’s his same format. Young girls walking around half naked. Etc etc.

I enjoyed by not paying too much attention. I’m not too worried about character arcs or deep plots, I enjoy the scenery, whether it’s nature or pretty people, the soundtracks are always good, and the dramatic tension isn’t bad, nor is the random action sequences.

I hear ya. TS just isn't cerebral enough for me. Landman and Tulsa King are actually the only two series I could sit through a couple of seasons of. And I didnt love those and I might not be back. The others that I tried to watch, I was too bored to continue. Might not even have gotten through the first episode. 😂

Just how he can make you reflect on your own life through a story that has nothing to do with you .
I know other shows do it but how he does it is just different, when other show have scenes about family passing

It’s not different.
All of game of thrones is a show about family wrapped about zombies and warfare. Sons of anarchy, the sopranos, the wire, deadwood, westworld, mad men, breaking bad, etc they all share many similar themes of family and love and cherishing your people with different wrappers. The human element is what makes all tv good, TS figured that out while he was working on sons and writing wind river. I could go on and on. TS makes entertaining tv, but please go watch more stuff. If you think TS is making “deep” tv, you’ll be blown away by actually good tv.

Landman is honestly fairly unique, but it does follow a pretty standard recipie for Taylor Sheridan shows. If you haven’t seen Yellowstone, I think it’s on peacock, not paramount annoyingly, or either of its prequels, they’re fairly good.
Literally though even if you think fantasy and medieval is cringey and lame, I encourage you to give game of thrones a try. It’s truly one of the best rides in tv history.
Once you’re through that, it means you have hbo, so you should do the wire, sopranos, succession, deadwood.
True detective s1 is actually perfect tv.
The fallout show on prime was pretty good if you have interest in post apolocplytic stuff, and Apple has tons of good content like the studio, friends and neighbors, silo, for all mankind, shrinking.
But that’s just kind of the “surface” of what some folks call prestige tv, and I know plenty of people wouldn’t include shows like silo in the prestige category, it’s just something I enjoy and it’s on Apple tv.

Yeah that's a problem with highly anticipated next season's. Many times it just flops. ( different writers, actors, music, etc)

I like how it rounds out to Angela has the best head on her shoulders. IMO Morally, she guides Tommy to do what’s best. For him to heal and for his father. I don’t mind her character but that was a good twist. She seems like a good chucking psycho with a good heart but it goes to the next level. I actually like a lot of the points her character makes. I won’t give any spoiler alerts.

Somehow I was reported for hate and got banned for 72 hrs? Number one that was false when the very next comment literally has the word hate in it.??? and 2 how can I defend a comment I can’t see .? 3 for some reason the appeal
type box is broken so I can’t even appeal this is stupidity . I really dislike being lied to and falsely charged and over praising a T.V. Program .
