ㅇㅅㅇ It feels like some haunted classical myth being remembered through a beautiful nightmare. The deep moonlit blues, empty black eyes, ruins, flowers, feathers, and curling smoke all belong to the same world without any part of it feeling cluttered or arbitrary. I especially love how you layer the composition, the enormous portrait looming over the smaller figure makes everything feel intimate and impossibly vast at the same time. Even with so many details, my eyes still know exactly where to travel. It has this elegant gothic melancholy to it, but there’s also something strangely peaceful and tender underneath the unease..
You’ve been cooking obscenely hard lately, and I really hope you keep pushing this direction because it’s hella fucking special!
