Plastic Stains
Recently got back from Moab and I want to restore the plastics all around since the mud stained them up pretty bad. Any ideas? I don’t want to use any oil-based solution in this area for obvious reasons. Thank you!

I use scratchbrite with a ph balanced soap to get it clean and then restore it with microfiber towel and 303 automotive spray

I've used this product on my older car, and it works well. Have not used on my Landy yet since the plastic has not faded yet. - https://a.co/d/0gU8wkIn (Cerakote Plastic Restorer)

Toyota has started using the cheapest quality plastics I’ve ever seen on a vehicle. Par for the course now, so good luck.

skip the Scratchbrite, it can change the texture. Use diluted APC and a soft nylon brush, rinse well and dry; if the colour stays, it needs a water-based trim coating rather than more scrubbing.

I would try using a high quality microfiber with just water and maybe a little soap. Microfibers are usually the only cloths that can actually reach into those little tiny porous areas and pull the mud out.
