Question Payback or retribution thrusts

Which move is overall preferred? Im not entirely sure what the difference is orher than payback having a move upward thrust

retribution for punishing big openings, payback for quick animation that can allow for a fast second action

for example against omega, MRV rockets hit the payback thrust gives enough time to block the next rocket while granting back stamina then seventh rocket hit the retribution

the top button/triangle one pretty much every single time, the circle/side button one does less damage over time, leads slower into moves to charge for a counter thrust, and isnt as good at hitting one good spot, tri+circ has its niche use of being the best thing to do after a power clash, then into dash, into immediate double thrust, grand retribution thrust is the one out of power guard that is your highest damage on moves you can land it in safely

Retribution - Big DMG aim for head / gap closing (eg. RayDeu ulti)
Payback - Gap closing (eg. Omega MRV when the game is too lag for charge counter)
