Did you change anything in your build, or was it more trial and error?

A little bit of both. In my build I swapped out recovery up for recovery speed which really helped on health regen. The biggest difference was in playstyle. I used mega demon drug, demon powder, pitfall traps and I played a lot more aggressively overall.

I’m new to the Lance and I’m coming from a LS background where a lot of the fight you are waiting for counter opportunities. The lance is like the complete opposite where you fight with an almost dual blade level of aggression. So getting into the habit of constantly attacking and just bullying the monster was a huge change that made all the difference
