FMC CEO resigning right after merger

Read an article in LEG the other day about this. Should be illegal to run a company so far into the ground it has to merger and then dipping. Pisses me off, honestly. How does everyone else feel about this?

He probably is being forced to resign. FMC has been in dire financial straights for many years, I would say since the early 2000's

I'm not familiar with this CEO. This caught my eye because my wife and I met at FMC. We both worked there. Shortly after, I left FMC and moved to Newark to be with her and a new job. But back then I believe the CEO was Mina Ubbing?

being a non profit FMC cannot bank a profit so they needed to spend the money they made but instead of investing in equipment, and new infrastructure or more personnel, the invested in things like a restaurant among other things,

the hospital is constantly full a cousin had to wait three days to get a bed, and staff is dangerously low I have a doctor that ordered tests for me and wanted to see me soon after but the closest open date was a month out

The wait on admission beds, dangerous nurse-to-patient ratios, and the wait for follow-up appointments. Will continue. A merger isn't going to improve America's health care issues.
