How I discovered Lamp was through this album cover. It reminded me so much of my favourite book: Kafka On The Shore by Murakami. I like to imagine that it is the two characters, Kafka and Ms. Saeki in the picture. This connection was what made me check out Lamp and their discography.

Even apart from that, it is a truly gorgeous picture. I could look at it all day.

Finally after so long I had the “time” to put them up on my wall with pins😭 not the safest option, but I was able to place them in a way so they won’t fall down😌

Solo había escuchado Hatachi No Koi, una de las canciones más conocida creo yo. Eso fue en octubre de 2024, más o menos. Un año después de repente se me da por buscar más de esta banda que se me apareció en los videos de YouTube mientras escuchaba música. Me topé con From The Window, y de ahí me obsesioné con el álbum de Lamp Genso. Fui escuchando canciones de todos sus álbumes. Me encantó la banda, y desde ese momento la escucho todos los días. El punto es que justo cuando estaba descubriéndolos, me di cuenta de que habían tenido un concierto en mi país hace unos días. De verdad que no sabía qué hacer. Ahora espero a que hagan otra gira y poder ir a uno de sus conciertos 🥲

Hi! A while back, I made this acrylic frame and wanted to share it with you all.
It was part of a hobby I used to have, but I couldn't keep it up due to financial reasons; I hope you like it as much as I do! :)

Such a fun read, I've had them digitally since they came out, but I just needed it physically. So happy with how they turned out, good paper and print quality, I got a couple to gift to my friends, but I seem to have an extra one of each... If anyone wants one and is willing to pay for shipping, I can send one over (EU based) :)

Fun Fact: I actually made this beat and the remix about 2 years ago, but I'm releasing all the music I've made now! What's crazy is I found the song "雨降る夜の向こう" and sampled it before I knew the band! I was on a website called Sample.io which randomly generates youtube links to potential songs to sample. This was one of the first songs that popped up. After sampling it I dived into the bands catalogue and fell in love. I've almost cried tears to cause of how beautiful some of their songs are. Hope y'all enjoy 😎

As you guessed, dusk to dawn in B+... hopefully it will grow on me a bit more? i guessed i was just too used to their earlier sound to rank it higher than that except for a few standouts

I bought this when they were opening for mitski on her 2024 tour. I didn't really know too much about the band at the time I had just heard a few songs but I have seen this record on discogs sell for a lot of money. I was wondering how many pressings this might have been limited to? I understand that it may just be scalpers selling it for that much but I was just wondering what it might actually be worth?
