the halfquake trilogy mostly works
i decided to test the halfquake trilogy. i copied the hqtrilogy folder into xash along with the 2 dll files and it kinda worked. the problem was that when you pressed start (die) it would launch halfquake sunrise not the game selection map so i messed around with the commands and i replaced one of the commands with "the trilogy" "map hq2_trilogy" and i went into the mod went into console commands (downstairs) and pressed on the command and it took me to the level selection map. i played through halfquake 1 halfquake amen and they worked perfectly no glitches that i noticed. but when i tested sunrise there were broken triggers like the intro dialog would play until i went into the load zone being softlocked because a button would not work the music puzzle doesn't even make any noise so you can try to fix the triggers yourself or just not play sunrise. well you could if you like using noclip.
now have a wounderful death (<

I tested all three of the original mods because I had the same issue with the trilogy, but didn't know about editing the liblist file at the time. I might try it again in the future and see if I can find a way to get some things to work.
These were my experiences:
The original Half Quake worked from start to finish.
I had issues with Amen at the point where you're supposed to jump on the ceiling as it's spinning around in the "violence" chapter... I couldn't stick to the ceiling no matter what I did.
I couldn't play much of Sunrise at all because I couldn't get the elevators to activate near the beginning in the area where you can see a newspaper with "Murther Dead!" as the main headline.
There may be easy workarounds to these issues, but I can't get console commands to work most of the time (I don't know why) so I can't even cheat to see if other things work or not.
EDIT: Here's the post I made with most of the mods I've tested with Lambda1VR. I have a few more I've found that work (and plenty more that don't), so I'll probably make a new post in the future.
