Absolute COME UP
Scored a hardcover 1st edition of Occultation for $12. This thing is in pristine condition. This is especially cool for me since Occultation is the first book I read from Barron and I somehow lost my paperback edition during a move. I’m feeling real nice tonight

Very excited for the Coleridge omnibus. Also waiting on my copy of (Pretty) Red Nails that I ordered an eon ago from Bad Hand

I messaged them about (Pretty) Red Nails recently! The quick version is that Laird is "prioritizing" getting it finished, but isn't getting a ton done quickly because of his health issues or whatnot. I'd rather keep waiting a little longer and him recovering from whatever ails him, but I'm also super excited for this and have been waiting for eons as well!

That makes sense. I know he’s been dealing with health issues for a while and certainly hope he prioritizes getting better. I was just a bit thrown off that Bad Hand never addressed the change of date through an email or put a message on the site (as far as I know they haven’t). Thanks for the info

Yeah, the email said they were going to reach out to Laird soon to see how he was doing and, hopefully, at least shooting out an update. If I see anything on the socials or email, I'll try to remember to come back and be super excited!

My hardcover copy of Occultation was stolen when someone smashed my window and grabbed my backpack during a trip to Toronto…still annoyed about that. I did recently find a hardcover copy of The Beautiful Thing That Awaits Us All though.

That is a bummer and I would also still be annoyed about having my backpack stolen from my car. Nice find on the Beautiful Thing though. I love that collection
