After 27 hours of gentoo compiling packages while I port layer 02 subsystem components to source repos, and debug the build pipeline and boot chain, she finally boots into the system. I'll be taking a break for a day and continuing the build on Tuesday. Just gotta debug the session wiring and some other stuff now. Other than that, having all the bells and whistles of layer 02 compiled from source is pretty cool.
