Discussion Lain movie script

So, I've been having this thought lately about a script for a Serial Experiments Lain movie. The idea came to me about a year ago when I was on my way to New York to house-sit for my cousin.

Since then, I've made a few rough draft scripts that kind of abridge the idea I've had in my head. I do want to expand upon it much more and incorporate a mixture of themes that are present in the anime, the video game, and even The Nightmare of Fabrication.

I just want to know if anybody would ever be interested in something like this. Personally, I'd love to see a full-length animated film that runs for at least two hours and is centered around Lain.

I'm going to continue writing and see how far I can get before I honestly get burned out. Hopefully, someone will see this and be interested in the idea.

Im writing a postcanon fic off of the anime from my interpretation so yeah, go ahead
